Vinita Nair

She started at the station in July of 2004 and began reporting on a wide range of things, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as school shootings at Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. Her responsibilities included anchoring news live coverage along with briefings on ABC's online networks. Nair was co-anchoring World News Now on ABC since September 17, 2008. until Feb. 18, 2011 as well as America This Morning. In both of the shows Nair was initially paired with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. The 17th of February the 17th of February, 2011 Nair declared that Friday, February 18 would be her final broadcast night at World News Now. Her final day with ABC News would be Friday, February 18. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was immediately her successor. World News Now, February 18th was a tribute to Nair. Former and current colleagues also appeared in the segments.
